Sometimes creativity is organic, not intentional or preplanned. This collaboration between Toyin Adekale and Gary “Digitec” Lewis is one such creation. So, how did this happen? Gary: I just wanted to try something different and thought of you. Not a coincidence you’re in London, can you come to the studio this afternoon? Toyin: Love the instrumental, I’ll be there, I have no idea yet, but I’m sure I’ll find something. Toyin arrives at 3 pm with nothing. Says a prayer, “Heavenly Father, please intervene, be a part of this project. We need RESTORATION. It’s been a long season of loss. May we touch people’s lives with ‘RESTORATION’? Thank you, Father. Amen.” At 5 pm, we completed the song, I pray this blesses you as much as it did us creating it.
