First, you grab them for that all-important photo and then you write about them.

Spotted this October at the recent “International Music Summit” founded by Back2BackPr’s Carol Crawford, held at the impressive Radisson Blu Hotel. A wheels up throw from Heathrow Airport, Keith Kirk, Dave P, and O’Neil Dennis were there to, share, support, and speak to a room full of artists who flew in from various states in the USA alongside some of our UK artists to learn from Industry Professionals, sing and network across three amazing days.

Keith Kirk recently launched Motif Music, which provides essential label services for the Independent Community. Keith is often called upon to share his knowledge at workshops and Industry Music sessions, as he walks us through the minefield on the topic of “Metadata”, the digital information associated with the business side of music which if done right, secures and attaches itself in all the right places and spaces to ensure that artists music will receive revenue that often gets assigned elsewhere, due to wrong data or no data attached to the work. Metadata is the digital footprint needed by all.

So as an artist, once you’ve taken care of business, released your music, and are looking for that all-important airplay, the legendary Dave P, Co-founder, Station Manager, and DJ of Urban Gospel Network, UGN JAMZ, knows a thing or two about that musical exposure.

A pioneer of gospel radio in the UK for over 34 years, he has played Gospel music from around the world as well as interviewed some of our Gospel Music legends, he is passionate about supporting good music, and artists, and spreading the gospel on-air 24/7, playing a range of gospel music,

For the last 2 years in November, all roads have led to the A Step Fwd Awards, to award artists across 12 Genres of Music across the year as well as recognizing Ministries, Organisations, and Individuals who have contributed in the Christian space.

This year, on 11^th November 2023, the Awards will be held at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon, in partnership with TBN UK, who will be broadcasting the event. It promises to be a memorable night of celebrations within the Christian community.
