Dr Petal L. Additionally, Miller is an International Training Consultant, Facilitator, Coach, Educator and Tutor with decades of experience helping students unlock potential. However, as Director of PLM Extra Tuition, she has taught children aged 4–16 for 36 years. Moreover, Petal tutors Maths, English Language and English Literature to GCSE level and in line with the National Curriculum. She is known for her teaching experience and delivery, as well as academic excellence and success. A long list of former PLM Extra Tuition students have received scholarships to Independent and Grammar Schools, achieved better GCSE results and have gone on to top tier universities and carved fulfilling careers.

At PLM Development Services, her work is grounded in transformational learning — empowering students, leaders, managers, teams, individuals and professionals to communicate with confidence, clarity and impact. Petal is known as the H.O.P.E Dealer™ (Helping Other People to Excel/Evolve). Her mission is to help people step into their power and lead with authenticity.

Petal holds an Honorary Doctorate in Religious Studies and lifelong service in education, learning, training and development from the Joint Council of Churches for All Nations (JCCAN) Academy in January 2026. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, specialising in Human Resource Development. She is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Petal is an Ordained Pastor and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Theology. She is a member of the Christian Leaders Community (CLC) and was presented with the Christian Leaders Community (CLC) Honour & Merit Award 2025 – Excellence Award for exemplary excellence, unwavering dedication, and outstanding contribution to the growth and impact of the Christian Leaders Community in December 2025.

She has been involved in education, learning, training and development since 1977. She is passionate about children and people and believes that her role in life is to facilitate the growth and development of others. Petal’s teaching/training, is guided by five (5) principles namely: Humour, Heart, Hope, Help and Hand.

Petal was honoured by BBI UK Ltd at their 22nd Annual Achievement Recognition Awards (ARA) 2025 – “Celebrating Achievement, Diversity & Spirit of Togetherness”, and was presented with the Award for Exemplary Lifetime Achievement in recognition of her lifetime consistent, immeasurable, professional contribution to Education, Training and Personal Development sectors.

Petal is the author of ‘FEARLESS – Face Everything And Rise, Run and Reign’, a nine (9) book collection, where fear is confronted at its roots, as a mindset, behaviour and barrier to people becoming who they were created to be. The books invite readers on a deep honest journey of reflection, courage, action and transformation.

She is also the creator, author, and publisher of the book and self-development training and coaching programme – The MIRROR Challenge™, a personal approach to coaching designed to motivate people to look deeper inside themselves to identify uncomfortable truths and take positive steps to improve their situation. She has inspired audiences around the world to embrace personal growth, resilience and meaningful change. Petal is also featured in the Keepers of the Flame, Saluting 100 Black Authors Volume 3, compiled by Garfield Robinson and published in October 2025 by Promoting Our Heritage (POH) Books.

As well as being a creative and results oriented executive coach, she is also an extremely energetic conference facilitator and a highly experienced presentation and skills trainer. Petal is the specialist in reigniting passion in businesses and individuals. She is a ‘people person,’ who touches your heart as well as your soul. She makes you laugh, but importantly, she makes you think!  According to a delegate – “Petal has given my brain a workout!”

She is a dynamic speaker who gets her ideas and the message across with clarity and passion. An intriguing combination of humour and ability makes Petal an outstanding presenter.
