Elin Engdahl –  Bound For Glory (Feat. Elitronic)

“Bound For Glory” is an English version of “Din tid kommer” by million-selling Swedish singer/songwriter Håkan Hellström and composer/producer Björn Olsson. It tells the story about a daughter (or son in the original version by Hellström) who grew up without their father, and how their mother told them to “be all that I could never be”. The chorus is both the mother’s assurance to her young daughter (“You will find your promised land, the world is in your hands, guarded by an angel’s grace, let no one never doubt your fate, your time will come, you’re bound for glory”) and later the singer’s assurance to their audience, that despite any hardships they may face – “Close my eyes to see, how dreams came to be, the road wasn’t straight instead it turned, down every dead-end one must learn” – that they are also bound for glory one day. The song was released on February 21 and has already been played on FM radio in Australia and Belgium as well as digital radio in England, Mexico, Uganda and San Diego, California.

Elin Engdahl, a versatile and soulful singer and songwriter from Norrköping, Sweden, has a strong musical background and a voice that captivates her audience. She started her musical career in 2018 with the release of the EP “Embers”, consisting of four songs based on the theme of love, both as it relates to others and herself. The songs were written in Switzerland, where Elin was living at the time, and produced by the Swiss producer and songwriter Luk Zimmermann. After a hiatus for a few years, she re-launched her career in 2024. In July, Elin released her first Swedish language single “Vi kan bara undra (We Can Only Wonder)”, co-written and produced by Albin Loan. She followed it up with recording “Who I Am” and “Reality” for the debut album by Swedish producer Elitronic (Elias Lunde). With a unique artistic expression and an ability to touch others through her music, she’s on the uprise to spreading her music on a worldwide scale.

Elitronic (Elias Lunde) is a 17-year-old songwriter/producer whose previous productions with Project Earthbridge have been played on FM- or digital radio in at least eight countries on five continents. His remix of “Made Of Stars” has been played on the radio in France, South Africa, Namibia and the USA, where it has been in rotation at the Portland Radio Project in Oregon for more than a year and a half. He also produced “United We Stand As One”, which has been played on several American radio stations as well as in Australia, France, Mexico, Peru and Uganda.
