UK Dancehall Gospel artiste St Anju set to release Marcia Griffiths gospel remix

UK Dancehall Gospel Artist St. Anju is set to release his anticipated new single and gospel remix, entitled “Closer To You,” featuring budding creative Zion Kalling alongside multimedia professional and artist Keziah Job. The remix is set for release on August 1st. As expected, St. Anju’s lyrical excellence and word mastery are evident throughout this one-of-a-kind gospel remix.

St. Anju says “I was listening to the original song ‘Closer To You’ sang by Marcia Griffiths, which I have known and loved since its release back in the early 90s, but now as a Christian the idea came to me to do a Gospel Remix, as the prayer of our hearts is that we want to be closer to God, so the title remains ‘Closer To You’ but we are expressing our
desire and telling God that we want to be closer to him. James 4:8 states, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” The Psalmist in Psalm 27:8 said: “My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’ Your face, Lord, I will seek.” This shows David’s desire to seek God’s presence.”
