International Men’s Day – The Moorer’s

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor:  If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.

As we celebrate International Men’s Day on Sunday 19^th November 2023, men face many issues and challenges daily, in their personal life, professional life as well as their “calling”. Having good support is important.

I first noticed the “Moorer’s” at the International Music Summit in the UK back in 2021.

He” Charles Moorer,” a Gospel artist/bassist, has been blessing us with his wonderful soulful vocal performance, clearly gifted by God to do so and she “Crystal Moorer” his wife, quietly supporting her husband and encouraging him, as well as also picking up tips from Industry Professionals.

Since then, they have been in attendance and supported the Summit in the USA, Seattle in 2022, and the UK again in 2023.

Noticing this level of consistency, it was great to have an opportunity to speak with them and learn a little bit more about them.

Their journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but hearing what they had to say was encouraging.

We also spoke about why they kept attending year after year, it was clear that Crystal had gleaned a lot of knowledge from “being in the room” over the years and so was able to provide perspective, advice, and backup for her husband as he navigates his way through the business of music. There were times when she spoke like a “Manager in waiting” and would probably make a very good one. They are on this journey together which is good to see.

We touched on the Summits’ ability to connect artists and we’re looking forward to the release of “Heaven” which features Charles, alongside Award-winning UK artist Priscilla Bailey, it will be available on 24^th November 2023.
